Reports: 8th Boy Rescued From Thailand Cave
(Chiang Rai, Thailand) — There are reports that eight boys have now been brought out of a flooded cave in Thailand. Divers rescued four boys yesterday, more than two weeks after 12 members of a soccer team and their coach got trapped in a popular cave complex in northern Thailand. Another four boys have reportedly been rescued today. The rescued boys have been rushed to hospitals where they’re being treated for dehydration, malnutrition, and other effects of being trapped underground for 15 days. Rescue teams are continuing to work to bring the remaining boys and their 25-year-old coach.
