MGM Clarifies Cause For Lawsuits Against Concert Shooting Victims
(Las Vegas, NV) — MGM Resorts is clarifying its reasoning for a group of lawsuits against victims of the October 1st mass shooting at a country music festival on the Las Vegas Strip. The company has issued a statement on Twitter saying that it was simply asking for a change of venue from state to federal court in order to deal with lawsuits from the victims quickly, fairly, and efficiently. In its filing with the court, the company is claiming it has no liability for any injuries or deaths at the event and that lawsuits from victims should be dismissed.
