UPDATE: McGregor Takes Plea Deal In Barclays Brawl
(Brooklyn, NY) — UFC Fighter Conor McGregor is accepting a plea deal that avoids jail time for a brawl at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. During a court appearance in Brooklyn criminal court today, the 30-year-old fighter pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct for the April 5th incident where he chucked a metal dolly at the window of a bus inside the Barclays Center loading dock. He ended up injuring two UFC fighters in the incident. McGregor initially faced up to seven years in prison on felony charges, and must undergo anger management and five days of community service.

McGregor Back In Court Following Barclays Center Brawl
(Brooklyn, NY) — UFC Fighter Conor McGregor is due back in a Brooklyn courtroom today where he might accept a plea deal sparing him jail time. McGregor’s defense team is reportedly trying to work out a deal with prosecutors connected to the April brawl at the Barclays Center. Police allege the star fighter and a few other men started banging on a bus in the loading area when McGregor threw a hand truck at the bus causing damage and injuring other fighters. McGregor was charged with assault and criminal mischief.
