Based on what I see on Instagram, GENDER REVEAL parties are still a thing.
If somehow you’re not familiar, that’s when new parents get to find out whether they’re having a boy or girl, usually by doing something like popping a balloon that’ll have either blue or pink confetti inside.
A new survey asked people what they think of gender reveal parties. And the top answer is . . . they’re UNNECESSARY.
35% of people say they’re unnecessary . . . 30% say trendy . . . 27% say self-indulgent . . . and only 25% say they’re fun.
The survey also found that about two-thirds of people say they would want to know their baby’s gender before it’s born.
