MATTOON – Six members of the Mattoon High School Key Club recently donated time to help temporarily clear shelves in the local history area at the Mattoon Public Library.
A donor provided funds to install floor covering in the history area on the library’s basement level. To accommodate the project, the shelves needed to be cleared to move the stacks during the project.
Key Club members boxed all the books including city directories and school yearbooks.
