Earlier this week, TRAVIS SCOTT decided to celebrate the success of his new album “Astroworld” by giving money to people who hit him up on Twitter. He had a total of $100,000 to hand out.
One of the people who reached out to him was a guy named Peter Valdriz, who said he would use the money to help cover the cost of his mother’s funeral. So Travis sent him $800.
Valdriz posted a picture of the transaction . . . Travis had written, quote, “For not much but hope can help. Ur mom [is shining] down on ya.”
Valdriz says, quote, “Knowing that someone is out there trying to help us during this difficult time means the world to us. I personally want to thank Travis Scott for really making a tough day for my family into a day we can cherish.”
