Pink Cadillac Motorcade Planned For Aretha Franklin Funeral
(Detroit, MI) — A Mary Kay national sales director is putting out a call for all employees and non-affiliated pink Cadillac owners to turn out for Aretha Franklin’s funeral. The queen of soul is associated with pink Cadillacs after singing about one in her hit song “Freeway of Love.” Crisette Ellis has been a national sales director with the company since 2002, and her husband is Detroit pastor Bishop Charles H. Ellis the Third. Her husband runs the Greater Grace Temple, where Franklin’s private funeral will take place. Together, they’re working to bring dozens of pink Cadillacs to the Motor City. Owners of the cars will park outside the church and will be able to attend the service.
