A cancer benefit will be held at the Effingham VFW located at 2304 Veteran’s Drive from 1-9 p.m. today.
The cost is $10 and it will cover a choice between a hot dog, chili dog with chips and a drink.
The $10 also covers the chance to see the Liberty Road Band playing from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
There will be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle and a bake sale.
