(Undated) — Janet Jackson is receiving another honor for her music career. Organizers of the 2018 Black Girls Rock awards said yesterday that Jackson will be recognized this year as a “phenomenal woman in music.” The awards show takes place on Sunday, and will air on BET Networks on September 9th. Others who will be honored this year are Naomi Campbell, Judith Jamison and Mary J. Blige.
