The Parkland softball program will have a Mattoon connection. Head Coach Chuck Clutts, who is retiring after the upcoming season, will be joined by assistant coaches Danny and Kristi Paulson and Shelli Nolte. The Paulsons will lead the team after this season. Clutts has led the Cobras to 737 wins and eight NJCAA Nationals appearances.
