A Kuwaiti newspaper reports that a store tried to make fish seem fresher than they were by sticking googly eyes on them. Al Bayan posted pictures of the alleged scam on Twitter and amused users were quick to run with the story. One user said it seems fishy and they hope the culprits are found “gill-ty.” Another noted simply that it appeared to be a full “scale” scam. The store has reportedly been shut down by authorities in the wake of the deception.
