There are two new champions in the annual bathtub race in the British Isles. The BBC says over 100 competitors from around the world paddled their tubs across the Castletown Harbour in the Isle of Man yesterday, in the 47th annual World Tin Bath Championship. The winner was either the first to cross the finish line or go the furthest without sinking. All participants had to be able to swim at least 50 yards. This year’s tub race champions are Nick Thornley and Erica Cowen. The event raised over 200-thousand pounds for charity.
