Tennis history will be made in Saturday’s U.S. Open Final. Former Grand Slam champion Serena Williams will face first-timer Naomi Osaka of Japan for the women’s title at Flushing Meadows. If Williams wins this afternoon, she will tie the all-time record of 24 Grand Slam titles. If Osaka wins, she will become the first Japanese player to win a singles major.
Tomorrow the men play for the title. Novak Djokovic [[ JOKE-oh-vitch ]] of Serbia will face off against Juan Martin [[ mar-TEEN ]] del Potro of Argentina for the U.S. Open championship. Djokovic is playing for his 14th Grand Slam title.
