If you’re a big enough name, you don’t need promotion. EMINEM released a surprise album called “Kamikaze”out of the blue a week ago, and it sold 434,000 copies and is currently #1 on the Billboard 200.
TROYE SIVAN also had a decent debut. His new album “Bloom” sold 72,000 copies and is at #4.
