Is it possible to love someone if they’re actively rooting against you when you’re watching football on the weekend?
A new survey asked people if they could date someone who was a fan of their rival sports team. And believe it or not, it was a bigger deal-breaker for women than men.
22% of women say they couldn’t date someone who’s a fan of the team they hate. Only 15% of men had an issue with it.
And there’s more. 31% of men and 21% of women say it’s more important to be fans of the same teams than to have the same political beliefs.
And 41% of men and 25% of women say it’s more important to be fans of the same teams than to have the same religious beliefs.
