Tropical Storm Florence is expected to be downgraded soon to a tropical depression but it is still causing problems in the Carolinas. The major issue is flooding and power outages. The slow-moving storm is only moving at two miles per hour but the rain keeps falling on areas that have already seen more than a foot, and in some cases two feet of rainfall. Authorities have confirmed 12 storm-related deaths and about a million homes and offices do not have power. The rain could continue to fall as the storm lingers for two more days.
