(Los Angeles, CA) — Former Death Row Records exec Suge Knight is pleading “no contest” to voluntary manslaughter. Knight was in a Los Angeles courtroom yesterday to enter the plea and see a handful of other charges dropped. He could be serving up to 28 years in prison. His trial for murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run was slated to start with jury selection on Monday. Knight allegedly ran over a man at a Compton burger joint three years ago, killing him. He says he thought the man was going to shoot him.
