Eagles Slip Past Colts As Wentz Returns
(Philadelphia, PA) — Wendell Smallwood rushed for the go-ahead touchdown with minutes left in the game as the Eagles slipped past the Colts 20-16 in Philadelphia. Carson Wentz threw for 255 yards, a touchdown and an interception in his first game back since a knee injury last December. Jake Elliott nailed two field goals as Philly moved to 2-and-1. Andrew Luck threw for 164 yards and a score for the 1-and-2 Colts. Rookie linebacker Darius Leonard finished with 13 tackles and two sacks.
