This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Illinois, east central Illinois and southeast Illinois including: Champaign-Christian-Clark-Clay-Coles-Crawford-Cumberland-De Witt-Douglas-Edgar-Effingham-Jasper-Lawrence-Macon-Moultrie-Piatt-Richland-Shelby and Vermilion counties.
DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT… Scattered thunderstorms will be possible tonight, mainly after midnight. No severe weather is expected east of Interstate 55.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY… Periodic chances for thunderstorms are expected across the area Thursday night through Sunday. The probability of organized severe weather is low through Friday. It is too early to determine the threat for severe weather this weekend.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT… Spotter activation is not anticipated through tonight.
