This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of east central Illinois and southeast Illinois including: Champaign-Clark-Clay-Coles-Crawford-Cumberland-Douglas-Edgar-Effingham-Jasper-Lawrence-Richland and Vermilion counties
DAY ONE…TONIGHT… Isolated thunderstorms will be possible late tonight across eastern IL. The risk of severe thunderstorms is low.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY… There is potential for strong to severe thunderstorms on Wednesday afternoon into early Wednesday evening, with damaging winds the main hazard. One inch hail will also be a risk. Locally heavy rainfall may produce some flash flooding of roads in low lying and poor drainage areas.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT… Spotter activation is not anticipated through tonight.
