Top business leaders are pulling out of this month’s Future Investment Initiative in Saudi Arabia after reports the government in that country may be involved in the disappearance and possible murder of a journalist in Turkey. British entrepreneur Richard Branson, head of the Virgin Group, said he will not attend that starts October 23rd. Nor with World Bank President Jim Yong Kim. Uber’s CEO and many others have withdrawn. The Saudi government has said it does not know what happened to Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi [[ ka-SHO-gi ]]. Turkish government officials claim to have proof Khashoggi was murdered inside the Saudi consulate in their country. Khashoggi lived in Virginia and was a harsh critic of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
