The Mattoon American Legion Auxiliary’s quarter auction will be tomorrow (10/18). Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the bidding will begin at 6:30. Twenty-plus vendors will be on hand with a variety of items, including crafts, makeup, kitchenware, books and toys. Proceeds benefit the Mattoon Fire Department’s Operation Sleighride.
