District Officials Say No More Kangaroo Meat

(Cheyenne, NE) — A public school head cook in Nebraska embroiled in a controversy over the use of kangaroo meat in student meals is looking for a new job. According to a spokesman, the move comes after Potter-Dix School District junior and senior high school students were served chili containing a mix of kangaroo meat and beef a single time. While they denied that kangaroo meat is unhealthy, district officials said it would not be included in school lunches again.
