Dog Food Recalled Over Vitamin D

(Undated) — At least eleven different brands of dog food are being recalled because of dangerous levels of vitamin D. The FDA says some brands contain as much as 70 times the safe level and could kill dogs. In less serious cases, it could lead to vomiting and weight loss. Some of the recalled brands are Nutrisca, Natural Life, Evolve, Sportsman’s Pride, Abound, and Nature’s Promise. A full list is available on the FDA’s website.
