There’s something very appealing about a toilet made out of gold. It’s like, “I’m so rich that even my feces deserve to be treated like royalty.” But soon, even us common folk will get to experience that sensation.
An artist named Maurizio Cattelan designed a solid gold toilet, and it’s going to be in the Guggenheim Museum in New York City on May 4th. And they’re putting it in one of the bathrooms, so people can try it out.
There’s no word on whether it’ll be in the men’s or women’s bathrooms. Maurizio is calling the toilet exhibit “America” because it’s a commentary on wealth inequality, lives of excess, and blah blah blah. (ABC News)
