There’s a guy in Salt Lake City named Brian Smith who lost his job about a year ago. Then he missed a few months of rent, and ended up homeless.
Since then, he’s been sleeping in cars, crashing on couches, and sleeping on the streets sometimes. He applied for almost 200 jobs but didn’t get any of them. He says he pretty much lost all faith.
But then he recently heard about a clothing store called Utah Woolen Mills, that’s been giving suits to homeless people to help them feel more confident when they go in for job interviews.
For every suit they sell this year, they’re also giving one away to any guy who’s committed to getting off the streets.
Brian got fitted for his new suit this past Saturday . . . wore it for an interview on Monday . . . and found out on Tuesday that he GOT THE JOB.
We haven’t heard any details about the job, but he starts next week. (KSL.com)
