The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Coles, southeastern Moultrie and southeastern Shelby counties until 3:30
At 2:43, a severe thunderstorm was located near Stewardson, moving northeast at 40 mph. Dangers are 60 mile per hour wind gusts and quarter size hail.
Locations impacted include Mattoon, Shelbyville, Windsor, Stewardson, Strasburg, Paradise, Clarksburg, Gays, Mode, Wolf Creek and Eagle Creek State Parks.
