Disney hired Madonna’s ex GUY RITCHIE to direct the upcoming live-action “Aladdin” movie, which is sort of a strange move.
Guy is mostly known for directing stylish action movies . . . like “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels”,“Snatch”, “Revolver”, “RocknRolla”, and the “Sherlock Homes” movies.
Oh, and he also did that terrible Madonna romantic comedy “Swept Away”.
He hasn’t done any family movies . . . so this would be new.
