A new survey asked people what the “perfect” trip to the mall looks like, and the average amount people said they’d spend was just under $150.
And they must have surveyed more women than men, because, the average person said they’d want to spend THREE HOURS shopping. Here are four more stats from the survey . . .
1. Ideally, you’d start at 10:28 A.M. on a Saturday. Meaning by the time you get there, shop, and drive home, it’s pretty much the whole day. So much for college football.
2. You’d try on six things . . . buy five of them . . . and stop in the middle for coffee and a snack. So if you’re spending $150 that’s about $30 on each item. And ideally, people said they wouldn’t pay full price for anything.
3. The average person said they’d hit nine stores, but wouldn’t want to stand in line for more than seven minutes total.
4. They’d post on social media five times while shopping, and send at least one text to get a second opinion on something. Again, that’s gotta be women.
And one of the top things people HOPE would happen is trying something on, and realizing you need a smaller size.
