A motorcycle crash claims the life of one, after an accident along I-74 Eastbound near milepost 200 in Vermilion County occurred the afternoon of Tuesday, September 26th. According to a recent press release from Illinois State Police District 10, preliminary details indicate the motorcyclist, an unidentified male, age 68, of Illinois (unit 1) was eastbound when he lost control of the bike. Unit 1 then left the roadway into the grass median when he stuck the median wires and was ejected from his bike. Unit 1 was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Vermilion County Coroner. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
