(Charlotte, NC) — An air traffic controller at Charlotte’s airport in North Carolina is one of two men under arrest after allegedly being found in possession of a weapon of mass destruction. The FBI says Paul Dandan is charged with possession, acquiring and transporting a WMD. On November 3rd, Charlotte police say they responded to reports of a person being in possession of a homemade pipe bomb. They learned that Derrick Fells built the explosive and gave the device to Dandan. Fells is facing charges of manufacturing and possession of a weapon of mass destruction. The FAA confirms Dandan did not have the weapon at the airport and was fired immediately following his arrest.
